With the seats installed I decided to take the opportunity to tidy up the drivers side bolster which had a few scuffs.

Andrew noticed the door handle and door trim were not right when he received his car back from its recent re-spray. He also took the opportunity to go with upgrade door handle snap thingies.
So this was the way the handle and trim looked
The handle was basically catching the grey door lock socket in behind so I moved it to the right place and handle sits correctly now

Switch trim was a similar problem, just wasnt seated correctly
So a little bit of care and adjustment

Removed both door handles and upgraded the tiny mechanism thats know to snap.

I also installed one of my intake scoops.

I'll return to Andrews car shortly, as always waiting for parts from Honda lol
Another members car arrived for some upgrades and some fault finding.
There was a headlight issue in that they would not pop up. I checked the usual things first, fuses, relays, retract control etc, all were fine. So I decided to check the cable and socket. I noticed on the socket there was a build up of corrosion especially on 2 pins.
So I removed the pins, cleaned them down and applied the dielectric grease. Happy to report the lights are now working correctly.

Thats the GPS antenna.
In my opinion thats the correct place to put it [as in up around the window]. Most of those antenna have a magnetic base and a little flat metal plate is provided that has a sticky base and the top is coated in a smooth black surface to match in with the dash. The antenna sits on the plate.
Thanks Sudesh,
I have one on my NSX in the same place but have no records of previous owners having installed a GPS system. Hugo installed a 20g digital stereo thingy that Steve kept, but this didnt have any Nav functions. Curious as to why its there. I had thought it was some kind of digital aarial for the previous stereo install. I have an Alpine head unsit that uses the OEM aerial.
Nice work on the seats BTW ... charcoal dye I presume?
