What you guys think of this? Was working on building this as a plug and play kit earlier this year but got side tracked and never really pursued it further.

The shaped moulding looks good but the position in the car makes for an unnatural reach in my opinion. I just think pulling your arm back as you'd need to ss kind of away from the natural bend if that makes sense. I put mine in the lighter position which falls a bit more to hand (once the cover is up). I'm just meaning in the body mechanics of the procedure, I appreciate the ashtray flap needs to be lifted first. Mine was just for the hell of it as I had an S2000 switch already.

I live with push-button on the bimmer. At first it seems cool, but after a day or two - for me anyway - it just feels like a bit of a gimmick.

On the other hand, the push-button styling on the S2K was a real statement piece and you can't help thinking that this was part of a very definite effort by Honda to engineer some "specialness" into the cabin of that car. It does look good, no argument, and I'm sure some people will love to add this to their nsx. My guess is that it will really polarise opinion along one of two lines:

a. "great way to help give the nsx the cabin that it always deserved"
OR
b. "the nsx is special, it doesn't need trick cabin bits to proclaim the fact"

But overall I'm sure that you will have strong demand if you get around to doing the unit, especially stateside if these aren't already on prime. It's a great concept, albeit not for everyone.

Yeah appreciate what you mean, but that will reflect on the nature of the driver/position of the drivers seat etc.

I'm not a tall person, but I do sit quiet far back so my arms length to the centre panel is pretty much perfect!

For me to change the heater setting or if I had a radio, I have to lean way forward to reach them [dam my short arms lol]

So I guess the positioning will suit some and wont suit others.

Andrew is a tall man 6" 3 or more, so he would be a good test subject for really tall dudes lol, but I already done a cruise mod in a similar style to which I think works perfect for him.

I'm not going to install it in my own car, was just something I was playing around with when custom molding centre consoles.

I have no buttons at all in that centre piece, just a simple little tray.

Would only accept if there is a keyless ignition..

Its getting simpler shortly lol

Will be doing away with the central locking buttons as per NSX-R and interior boot release button. Still need to find those seat

Keyless ignition, now thats a challenge!

Another mod Ive been playing about with is the Mugen NSX-RR centre console and speedo dials, have some bits on test at the moment and delving into it more. Long way off yet though.

Would only accept if there is a keyless ignition..

ALWAYS happy to help out when i can.

What i will say, the Cruise Control is fab, love it to bits and would never remove it; but sometimes it is a bit problematic to reactivate whilst driving, but a small price to pay.
