If your convoy could link up with ours on the Belgium/German boarder Saturday it would best i think?

For your information, that route on the map is a very nice route, equal to driving on the Ring!
So be prepared to pass and be passed (by cars and motorcycles).
The closer you get to the Ring, the more fast cars you see, in going both directions. So to any others of you who can do what Paul will do (use the route on the map, post14 on page 2), it is highly recommended!
If you come later or earlier, that route is always there...much better than taking a boring motorway, the Autobahn you can take at night.

Let’s just not bunch up, it gets too crowded and slow.

    Hello Heinz,

OK, that's one very mad month end / financial year end sorted, now onto the serious stuff!!

    I'm in for this weekend

I'd be looking at the drive over on Saturday to meet on the borders. Then up for the morning drive to the 'Ring.

Can you book me a single room at Pension Diana (stayed their last time) for the Sunday evening please.

Up and travel back to UK on the MOnday.

For the UK owners, do you want to meet UK or Europe side of the chunnel (I'm not a ferry user)?

    Are Detlef and Dirk attending?

    Regards, Paul

Adnan, has said "best time to leave Maastricht would be round 12:00-13:00 pm"

So is it your plan to catch an early train on saturday morning and meet up with the Benelux owners on the drive to the ring?

It is my plan to leave Friday day time and stay in a hotel in or near to Maastricht Friday night.

    Hi Adnan,

Have just re-read the thread and things have moved around a bit so would like to be clear on who's planned what and when please.

    - Early plan seemed to be to meet on the border Saturday night (Hotel req'd), then early to the 'Ring on Sunday.
    - Arrive for days fun etc at the 'Ring, staying overnight (Pension Diana)
    - Monday head home

This original plan works well for me, and posssibly other UK owners as we can meet for the chunnel, as it offers a relaxed drive to meet you on the Saturday, interesting drive and day on Sunday, and just 1 days leave for the Monday.

However, thread suggests a different timetable has developed so I would welcome some clarity please.

    regards, Paul

Hi Paul, I think the change was due to organising a dinner that owners could attend like we did in 2008, but I will let Adnan confirm this.
