It was nice meeting some of the owners yesterday.

Was not sure I could make it as I had several planed tasks on the day but managed to arrive just after lunch time.

Due to road closure, had to use completely different route from what I normally take but still, just 10min extra time so not too bad.

On arrival, noticed the owner 'Pride' killing the battery with all sorts of gizmo despite using the LED.

The voltage was well below 8V in P2 without running the engine and even when ACG took over after starting the engine, it was only registering just above 12V so either something is causing massive drain, dead battery or the ACG rectifier partially broken.

The ACG body was so hot that I could only touch it for less than a second. Normally, even after driving for a while with closed eng hatch, I could keep my finger for several seconds if the charging system was healthy.

Hope you managed to get back safely with that small jump start pack.

Last year, for the hospitality lounge, we were invited to the Brooklands suite but it was under refurbishment this time so instead, we used the one at Woodcote.

As it was right next to the National paddock pit lane, so nice to be able to see these cars rushing back to the pit as well as lots of actions despite being as somewhat endurance driving mode.

Ironically, I found it much more exciting than the current F1 format.

Lovely weather, lots of interests from the visitors including the very young generations and good for making changes in the rhythm of the life.

Thank you for the invitation from the organisers and the support from Silverstone, sponsors, spectators and to Mike for introducing us to this event last year.
