    Actually I did take an interest in them when I was smaller! Drove one with a Lancia 2.0 twin cam engine, that was sideways fun!

    I had one in the early eighties, closed the door one day and the outside door panel fell off!!! Totally rusted through. Really loved it. Part exchanged it for a 2.4 911 Targe.

    The first time I went looking really seriously for an NSX i.e. I had the money, after a few months I bought a 993 Carrera. A narrow body, 2wd, Coupe in Midnight blue. Great car but of course it made you a Porsche owner!

    Having said that, a 996 GT3 is probably the only sensible money car that I'd consider if I to had assembled the budget but were unable to find a 3.2 Coupe NSX.
