Thread: Seat re trim

    Default Seat re trim

I won the recent ebay auction for a pair of seats, which I intend to get re-covered prior to installation in the car. Has anyone brought from Leatherseats.com as I think prime did a group buy recently? I would be interested to hear of the quality and ease of installation.

Alternatively, does anyone know, or can recommend a leather re trim specialist?

    Any thoughts or coments welcome

Oh my original seats will of course soon be surplus to requirement, and will be available......watch this space

Did you say "Pimp my Ride?" Just you wait, I give you 6 weeks before you're bolting shiny bits onto your grey chariot!

Greybloke; if you're hands-on then the leatherseats.com option is a really good idea, the quality and the fit are excellent. They're actually not too hard to install either.
The first one is the learning curve, the second one is a lot easier.

    try this place:

    http://www.cooksferry.com/

it is a BMW specialist, but im sure they can cater for your needs.
I have been to their site, and their work is amazing. All custom work done was perfect!

Even just walking around to see what was going on was quite good! I remember them saying it was something like £1000.00 for a full retrim on a 4dr E36 BMW (3-series) that includes the seats, piping, gear gaitor, handbrake gaitor, doorcards + more. (that is for 2 front seats and back bench whereas the NSX will be much cheaper seeing as there are only the 2)

No harm in giving them a call to see what they can do.

    Another one called:

Who also do great specialist work.

Best of luck, and dont forget to post pics once the work is completed wherever it is done from!
