Not sure about return times on Monday-open to suggestions to convoy it back....never been to Spa though, anyone fancy that as a detour on the way back?

A 6.50 train sounds like a plan if everyone else is up for it. Is it best to pre-book the tickets in advance for the tunnel, can you specify lower deck only?
We are planning to stay somewhere close to the tunnel on Friday night. Is anyone else planning on stopping nearby on Friday night?

    Regards Sharon.

    Hi Sharon

No you can't specify lower deck but as you will be in the NSX you should be guided to the bottom, if not just ask them.

    I would recommend this hotel

    Hi Gary,

Taking a break around Spa sounds like a good plan for the return trip.

The Ring to Spa is around 2 hours. Spa to Calais around 3 1/2 hours.

So maybe a nice brekkie before departing around 10ish would get us to Spa for lunch. If we left (latest) 2pm local we should hit Calais for around half 5.

How does this sound for those travelling back Monday?

    regards, Paul

This sounds good, but won't we visit the home of Procar and see this new rear wing that Detlef is working on?

It would be good depending if Detlef is around? Heinz suggests he will attend the event ....

    Hi Paul et all

I was thinking of booking a train for around 6.50 am out and 18.20 back on Monday. This would mean a by 6.20 and 17.40 check in. Obviously there would be traffic to contend with on the return so do you think a trip to Spa and reaching Calais is achievable by 17.30 or, since we will gain an hour back in Blighty just get an hour later train for "safety"

I've ordered my Tesco vouchers anyway.....It's about £106 round trip at current prices so I guess we just all need to agree on outward and return time based on who want to do what...

    Gary
