Recaro Pole Position (ABE) packages to fit NSX!

Hi all,

I have been working with Recaro UK and our contacts in Japan to bring packages to the market for NSX owners - at a lot less cost than original NSX seats.

Options include:

Velour Black
Velour Red
Velour Blue
Nardo Black/Artista Black
Ambla Leather/Dinamica Seude Red

Ambla Leather/Dinamica Seude Blue

Ambla Leather/Dinamica Seude Beige

Ambla Leather/Dinamica Seude Silver

Ambla Leather/Leather Black



We are already fitting Velour Black to Ary's Project NSX and several owners in Europe have been in contact to discuss options.

As soon as I have concrete pricing from Japan and Recaro UK I can put together some price packages. It will also include new Honda OEM bolts too.

Which of the above combo's best mimicks the black/black Type S seats with half leather and small recaro branding?

Also, what runners are you offering. I've spoken to a few owners recently and the common issue with non oem seats seems to be non oem runners. Most after market runners raise the seat to high in the cabin.

AFAIK Barry is getting Bride low position rails and having an engineering firm custom make the brackets for them.

As soon as I have mine I'll post some pictures.

FYI Taitec, wont fit Pole Positions, SOS is not making them anymore so is all custom ATM.

If you speak to Capital Seating/Recaro UK they will tell you there are no NSX specific runners for these seats. I've been working with Steve Swann there on a number of Japanese car projects - basically, customer wants a Recaro but there are no rails available

This is where we come in, Bride have a wide range of rails for bottom mounted (RO, MO - fit OEM DC2/EK9 Recaro's as well as various aftermarket Recaro seats) and side mounted (DO NOT fit 400mm+ side mounted seats) in their lineup.

Our proposal is to use a Type RO low position bottom mounted rail with custom brackets to allow the wider European Pole Position to fit.

The Bride FG side mounted rail is basically an RO rail with these 4 L shaped brackets.

Our Bride solution will still enable seatbelt points and a lower seating position.

Prices are per seat and rail. Considering the Recaro Pole Position prices from Recaro UK it works out a good deal

Normal selling price of the Leather seat is £745+VAT. Let alone a rail

Eire customers take the VAT off (/117.5*100) and add £46 per seat/rail
for shipping.
European customers take the VAT off (/117.5*100) and add £89 per seat/rail for shipping.

Hi - £159.97 for just the rail (priced per each). I've had the work done on my EK9 Civic RO rails and pole positions. I'll get some pics up.

I've got a set of RO rails on order for Ary, if there is enough interest in these kits I'll happily buy in 5 sets of NSX RO rails for fast turnaround of any order of the above combinations. Recaro UK stocks are usually pretty good, only a 5 day wait for plain ABE seats in black.

Can you confirm that the OEM seatbelt clip will come through the hole in the seat, just like the Type S photo above?

Also was that a 'yes' to Paul's question about small Recaro logo's on the seats?
