Hi PaulG ... my NSX is insured through "AON" on 01384 552702 as a 'modern classic' and as my second car, which means there is no 'no claims discount' applied to the cost ... I seem to recall a few people giving them the nod of approval on here in the past.

My policy has my '96 3.0 manual JDM <50,000mile NSX insured for £26,000 [ok, maybe a tad on the high side, but hey, its priceless tome, or at least it was when I got it] ... its a limited mileage policy for up to 5,000miles a year, although this can be easily extended for a small fee ... under the policy it must be garaged overnight when its at home ... and the excess is just £250 ... now I have attended one track day and have a letter to verify this, they will even cover me on track days with the appropriate notification and a small additional premium of course ... the cost of all this ... a tad under £520 for someone between 35 and 40 years old.

Enjoy it while it lasts ...

    Thanks Paul, Steve,

Much appriciated. I seem to hit a problem when I tell them the car is on the drive and not tucked up in the garage! Did finally get a quote for £345.00 on a 5000 miles PA.

I now decided to keep the X on it's normal cover and ended up juggling around the other policy's! either way it's always end up being buckets loads cheaper if I put my other half on the policy! that's called sexest! but hey brings the cost right down, so now found another use the good lady!!

    Cheers
