I like the Corvette but what brand new car can I buy this weekend from a dealer in the UK with a warrnty etc that meets your original criteria.

The only car I can think of which may of meet your criteria would of been one of the TVR's but not sure even the ones that could do a sub 4 sec 0 to 60 cost under £50k.

Mitsubishi Evo X FQ400 - 400hp, 0-60 3.8secs, £49,999

... not really a supercar though and certainly don't hanker after one of them.
