Only one mechanical issue during the trip, my cooling fan decided to not come on at one point when stuck in traffic and temperature in mid 20's. Fortunately, we were all TVR owners some time ago, so are quite good at quick roadside repairs, with some wire and a roll of gaffer tape. We managed to short the fan wiring so it was permanently on when a wire was inserted into the 30amp fuse. Now I'm back from trip, it looks like it's the WT sensor has decided to give up, so for the remainder of the summer, the fan is now on a switch.
