After bleeding the brake,
went out for the test driving session.

This is the first time I used SoS LMA so paid
extra attention at lower rpm range although
the test pipe and back box were so loud that
it eliminated almost all of the sound above 1,500rpm.

SoS LMA sounded bit different at idle rpm but probably
that’s just my ear as I knew it’s not exactly the same one
as the latest OEM one.

Happy with the low speed testing, AT manual shift mode,
A/C operation, etc so went out for the
70mph cruising mode for about 30min.

In the process, engaged VTEC few times and also revved
the engine to the limit.

No CEL or any issues so happy with the result.

Back to my place and as this NSX is DBW,
checked the idle rpm with SCS, reset the ECU and let the
engine to re-learn the coefficient value for the fuel timer control.

Time to flush the ABS.

The bracket holding the solenoid connectors were
completely corroded to this level.
I normally try to release the connectors from the
bracket but when the corrosion gets to this point,
it could break the holder stay if I apply too much force.

Instead, decided to keep the bracket together with
the connector and just removed the fixing bolt.

This NSX is equipped with the 2nd generation ABS so
it has far better protection against the contamination at
the solenoid but still it can have similar issues around the
accumulator, etc.

In fact, the high pressure fluid inside the accumulator was full of air.

ABS SST used with fresh brake fluid to wash out the accumulator.

Cleaned the reservoir to this level and flushed each solenoid.

Once the engine has cooled down, double checked that
there is no air trapped at the bleeder plug of
heater core and radiator top tank.

Another quick test driving session to activate the
ABS pump and adjust the fluid level.

Washed the car and dressed the engine bay.

Note to the owner;
The windshield washer tank was topped up with blue coloured
fluid. Depending on the tank temperature, the fluid will seep out
from the tiny hole at the centre of the blue cap.
Please do not get confused this blue colour fluid with the coolant
especially it will drip around the area of the drain plug of the radiator.
The cooling system has been leak tested with no issues.

Thank you for using my service and looking forward to
working on your NSX again in the future.

Regards,
Kaz
