As seen on all of the NSX, the oil seepage from the oil pan gasket.
It is making the flywheel inspection cover area wet but not too bad.

I hope it’s not from the crank end seal though.....

As it is only partial seepage, not enough to replace the oil pan gasket so
going to leave it this time.

The excessive corrosion protection oil landed on the front beam as well.

I even saw the trace of protection oil inside the ACG which is not good....

So, pretty much everything under the engine bay is ready for the engine removal.

This is the engine side mount bolt.

It was only finger tight.....

The engine won’t fly away from here but not good for the rest of the mounts and
it will cause extra vibration and noise.

Again, the corrosion protection oil all over the fuel filter.

So difficult to tell whether it is leaking or not by just the visual inspection.

I didn’t smell fuel so probably fine but we are going to replace it any way as
it was not replaced for many-many years.

Engine wiring loom removed from the cabin and pushed into the engine bay.

So, the upper side of the engine is almost ready for the engine removal.

Just need to cut off the three big coolant hoses attached to the engine,
disconnect the brake hose and then start removing the bolts at the mounts and
at the sub frame.

I must focus on another project tomorrow so won’t be working on
this NSX but hope to take the engine out very soon.

More to follow later.
