Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

The left side door and foot well speaker boxes are now back in place and
started working on the right side door.

As I don’t have enough time to finish everything in time before leaving for
the alignment service, decided to take the AMP out of the speaker box but
put almost everything back on the car before visiting the alignment platform.





Lots and lots of extra wires on this NSX….




As a standard procedure, whenever I open the door card, always apply silicone
grease into the connector especially for the one at the lock/unlock switch.
For some reason, Honda didn’t use WPC connector and always the middle terminal
will get corroded and turned into green colour.
Eventually, the internal part will fell off and you can no longer operate the lock/unlock
switch from the cabin.






As seen on many NSX, the speaker box fixing tab was damaged by over tightening
the tapping screw.

The golden rule is to stop tightening once you start feeling any friction.







So, the right side door AMP is out and door card back on the car.

Time for the alignment service.
