Time to wash the A/C evaporator.

When I first looked at the evaporator on this NSX, it looked not too bad for the age and the mileage of the car.


Any way, nothing new or special so wore the protective gear and gave the shot of air gun as usual.


Bad idea….


There were 100’s of small pieces of leaves left at the bottom of the evaporator container.


Soon, the floor was covered in dark brown debris.

This is the amount of debris came out by just one blast which is less than 1sec.

Imagine the end result after several tank of compressed air…


After some time, finally it looked that there were not much left at the bottom so that I could start spraying the cleaning solution.


I don’t want to apply the cleaner only to see the passenger carpet getting wet due to the blocked drain pipe….

In the process of washing the evaporator.


Dried it and then disinfected it.
