Happy with the adjustment so sealed the adjuster screw.

Probably you won't understand these photos but I'm trying to adjust the position of the eng cover especially with the NSX-T model.

It takes ages with Targa model…..

I already spent nearly 40min and still not happy with the moisture entering the rear hatch glass area resulting in fogging up.

I think the weatherstrip got too tired and not making good seal.

Done my best for the adjustment for now.

Considering the weather forecast, decided to carry out the test driving session first.

No majour engine service so just the usual test driving without the 30min cruising mode.

As I started the engine multiple times over the few days, managed to set all emission flags.

Re-torqued the wheel nuts but with such low mileage covered, advised the owner to re-torque it on his return.

Happy with the result so thought it's going to be easy task of removing all three speaker boxes….

I was wrong….

So many extra components and wires were in the way with all sorts of wrong bolts, screws, nuts used…..

Ended up working inside the garage until after 9pm and after quick supper, kept working until after midnight......

As seen on other NSX, the splash proof sheet behind the door card was damaged or peeled off.

Can't do much without replacing with a new one so just re-installed as much as possible.

As always, applied thin coat of silicone grease at the non-WPC connector used at the door card.

Honda should have used WPC here because of the high humidity.

Same goes for the big 22pin (or was it 20pin??? can't remember…) connector behind the boot carpet…

The usual, the broken tab at the door card.

Please stop tightening as soon as you feel some resistance.

Quick turn around of all three AMP and applied thermal compound just before the installation.

To my ear and hearing sensitivity, the OEM system is good enough.

Now-a-days, you can find 'easy to install' 4ch basic AMP accepting both the Line and speaker level signal together with
low impedance speaker matching (like Bose speaker) at reasonable cost.

So, if the installation can be sorted, it could become another option if the Bose AMP is beyond repair or if Bose decides to stop supplying the NSX specific AMP.

That's it!

Thank you for using my service and on this occasion, thank you for allowing me the extra time for my family reason.

Already working on another NSX….

Regards,

Kaz
