Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Tried my best to re-shape and re-route all these ABS upgrade brake hoses, CL hyd line and brake booster vacuum line.

As reported earlier, too much damages/de-formation were done so had to compromise to keep safety as the top priority than the looks, etc.

These pipes won't sit inside the pipe holder…..

This clip is now in the correct area but the pipes are not lined up and ideally, the yellow marking should be bit further right of this photo.












The bolt (green arrow) at the bracket holding the brake booster vacuum line was seized.

Looked like cross-threaded and in fact, the mating thread/receptacle (blue arrow) that should be welded to the panel was freely spinning.

Didn't want spending too much time releasing it as it's not part of the service but causing lots of headache as I couldn't move this thick pipe while dealing with other pipes.

May consider freeing it depending on what owner wants to do in the future.



















As a comparison, this is the ABS Upgrade that I carried out for another owner and how the pipes, bracket, holder and clip should look like after the installation.

I'm afraid it would be cheaper to replace all pipes than spending any further time trying to re-shape these bent ones…..
