Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Cleaned and degreased the mating surface of the valve cover gasket on the engine head side.


This will allow good seal around the valve cover to prevent oil seapage for many years.

Applied liquid gasket to the specified section of the valve cover gasket and now Front and Rear valve covers are installed.

A/C belt tensioned to the spec and ACG installed as well.


Both belts will be re-tensioned after heat cycling them but they will need to be checked again at the next service.


As I need several hours to let the liquid gasket to cure, won’t be able to fire up the engine yet.
