After waiting for a few months, finally, the Neova AD08R is back in stock.

Initially, Yokohama HPT couldn’t provide me with the definite delivery schedule for AD08R in 245/40/17 so considered the 255 as an option.
For some reason, 255 seemed to be always in stock but not the 245.

Also, thought about going for something new such as the BS RE-71R or Michelin PSS or PS Cup 2.
However, the RE-71R seems to be not available for UK market yet and I couldn't find the suitable front size with Michelin so not much option.

Glad that the tyre has arrived before hitting the limit.

WK50 of 2015 so manufactured at the end of last year but it's already July….

I went through several set of Neova and on average, I covered about 11K – 13K miles with my driving style/condition.

May try 71R next time.

Will run in and take it easy for the first several 100miles and re-torque the wheel nut later.
