1st round of pressure bleeding.

Even after many years, the IG coil cover gasket is still bouncy and in healthy condition. Thanks to the silicone grease. Just reapplied again.

Always double check the presence of metal collar/spacer before placing the IG coil cover.
Very important to prevent moisture entering this area and also you don’t want to crack the IG coil cover.

New fuel filter and installed.
Applied fuel pressure for leak checking.

New air cleaner element.
Will let the ECU to re-learn the study value.

Probably overkill but new oil filter filled with eng oil before installation.

About 400cc of old eng oil pumped out from the top.

Quick fireup before the 2nd round of brake fluid bleeding and adjusting the parking brake lever.

I think the thermostat on my NSX is getting tired after 8 – 9 years and partially seized open.
Takes a little longer to warm up than this NSX.
Needs to drain the coolant before replacing the a/c evaporator so good timing to replace it.
Want to clean the VVIS chamber and INJ as well so lots of things to do but just can’t find the spare time working on my NSX…..

Just use extractor pump through oil level gauge pipe. You can find lots of similar design from many manufactures.
No need to use expensive electrical pump.
In fact, the manual type can create strong vacuum so it can be used for many purposes.
