Applied silicone grease around all of the rubber hunger of the aftermarket exhaust back box.
All of them were making squeaking noise and in order to align the tail end pipe against the rear bumper, always torque the bolts and nuts from the rear end fist and move forward.
After tightening the front Eng/gbox mount and more than ten bolts setting the sub frame against the chassis frame, torqued the remaining mounts in the specific order.
This rear mount is the last one to be tightened.
When ever looking at the shape of the bolt holes at the sub frame and the ones on the chassis frame, I admire the Honda designers.
Rigid mount with no movement and minimises the difference between each chassis.
As always, double check that the O2 sensor cable is not touching any sharp edges or the hot header surface.
Shift cable back in place and this side of the eng bay is pretty much done apart from installing the anti-roll bar under 1G.
Much more comfortable using the OEM ball stud at the base of the boot lid gas damper than the short aftermarket one.
Will return the original one to the owner.
Coolant header tank, LEV secondary air pipe, fuel line, etc installed and upper side of the engine is done.
Hope to fireup soon and return this NSX to the owner within this week.
