Since last weekend, some of the BT ISP users were affected by the issue of not being able to load some of the specific sites even when the line speed was fine.
Some claims it's related to the BT DNS but others didn't think so and more of WAN IP related but who knows what ISP is doing even when you specify different DNS.

I was one of the unlucky one and couldn't load google search, google map, google+ photo, etc yet no problem in accessing other sites including nsxcb or NSX Prime apart from displaying the photos used inside my blog.
I am linking the photo through google server so not great when there is a problem loading any google related sites.

Looks like BT made some progress but I'm going to stay with OpenDNS for the time being and may consider switching back to BT DNS later although the namebench software suggests that staying with OpenDNS is the better option for my setup.

So, time to update the blog as I'm already about to remove all four camshafts from the engine.

The battery holder rods were not installed like from the factory and as the result, twisted/bent.
The cause was simple. One of the rod is not the original spec and too short for the OEM installation.
I should have one spare new one so will replace it and install it at the correct fixing point.

Checked all four mounts and while they are all getting old, no major cracks/splits so going to re-use them.

Eng/gbox out of the bay.

While the rear bank was not too bad, there were lots and lots of oil seepage around the front bank TB area.
Probably the valve cover gasket was not installed properly.

No idea why one wants to use so much liquid gasket.....

It's quite normal to see lots of debris behind the crank pulley due to oil seepage from the front valve cover area but on this engine, the level of dirt was quite severe. Looking forward in cleaning it....

The cross beam needs really good cleaning.
Covered in dust and oil.
