Back to the garage and onto the lift for the Health Check.

Didn't like at all the amount of so much force required in closing the boot lid.
Also, the aftermarket boot lid damper was catching on the side panel.
This caused the forward section of the boot lid to stay higher when closing the boot lid and one of the reason why it required so much force.

Initially, I thought the reason the damper was catching against the side panel was due to the longer damper body and the ball stud too close to the side panel compared to my red NSX with OEM damper and ball stud.

However, after comparing it with my NSX, I found the simple answer.
The damper was installed in 180deg wrong phase (reversed). Wrong installation on the left photo and correct one at the right.

Re-installed the left damper in the correct orienration as well.
Because of the longer aftermarket damper body, the OEM cable holder for the 3rd brake light won't fit properly but better than nothing in protecting the cable.

I know some of the owners taking their NSX on track adjusted the wiper arm at different position in order to get better view for CP of the corner but on this NSX, the passenger side wiper arm was adjusted too low.

Because of this, the edge of wiper arm was catching on the back of the bonnet and making sad marking.

After talking to the owner, re-adjusted it to the proper position and no more scratch.
