Standard procedure for me to fill up the new oil filter with fresh eng oil on installation.

Due to big dent at the oil pan, couldn't extract similar amount of old oil compared to other NSX.
Burst of short cranking and then proper fire up.

Quick leak check and t
ime for the test driving session.

After general checking, back on the lift and happy with the result so time for the 70mph continuous cruising mode.

Emission flags are now all set and happy with the result.
Back on the lift for final check and done.

Cool down the car and then started washing the car only to find torrential downpour....
Why it always rains when I wash the car....
Saw beautiful rainbow though so not just bad thing....

Probably the owner is aware of this but when you overhaul the brake system, you will notice big changes in pedal feeling.

As mentioned previously, there are lots of know-how on the shape, material, spec, etc on the piston seals and caliper piston/body design.
With fresh piston and seal, when you release the brake pedal, the piston will be pushed back further compared to partially seized piston state like we saw on these calipers this time.
Also, the knockoff effect is larger after the overhaul.

Because of these, the driver will feel extra pedal stroke before the initial bite but no spongy pedal feeling. Quite normal for fresh state.
The pad being used and use of pad shim also have huge effect in pedal feeling but we re-used these this time so no changes.

Thank you for using my service and hope the owner will enjoy his NSX again after replacing the tyres.

Kaz
