Compression check.

I recommend the owners to take the compression once a year to keep eye on the health of your engine.

Nice clean IG coils with very little rust at the rear bank ones.

Not sure for the UK market but in Japan, Honda did change the heat range of spark plug to #7 just for a short period (just for a year???) on later spec engine and then went back to #6 again.

This NSX was equipped with PFR7G-11S.

Just a bit extra carbon at the base of insulator/centre terminal but no misfire detected.
I have spare spark plugs in stock for both OBD1 and OBD2 spec NSX so I could replace them but the light brown corona arching marking on the plug body is still very light with no trace of moisture corrosion. Considering the mileage, just re-use them this time and may be replace them next year.

Full data has been sent to the owner through email.
[psi]
#1: **9, #2: **0, #3: **3, #4: **1, #5:**0, #6: **0

Same tendency as last time.
Bit extra deviation compared to super balanced engine (within 5psi window) but still well within the spec. This was the same even after carefully adjusting the valve clearance so more of hardware related (carbon at valve seat, etc) than the adjustable moving parts.
As the engine runs smooth, powerful and well within the compression spec window, nothing to worry.
Just replace the engine oil and filter regularly regardless of the annual mileage.

As always, cranking the engine at WOT with no INJ will cause CEL so will reset the ECU later.

In the process of opening the audio head unit as I may need to order extra caps.
Alpine changed the spec of the board several times so until I open it, I won't know which caps are required for the overhaul.....

Forgot to ask the owner on what he wants to do with his existing CD Changer.
The disc magazin is empty but obviously, if I install the PA11-HON, there will be no power to it so won't be able to take it out.
On the other hand, I found that people lost the magazin after it was taken out and left unused for many years.
Probably leave it as it is for now and decide later.

Hope to return the NSX to the owner towards the end of next week.
