Eng oil was really black and there were lots of oil mist at the rubber joint
between the TH body and the air box so the PCV valve may need replacing.
It was very dirty any way.

Despite the above fact and although it will still require extra time cleaning the
internal parts, the rear bank was not too bad.

However, the front bank was simply covered in charcoal black.....

If I was going to OH the cyl head and removing the valves as well,
I would have simply soaked the entire cyl head into the chemical fluid
but on this occasion, I’m not going to remove the valves so
needs better way of cleaning this efficiently.

Somewhat I’m glad that we are going to remove the head so that
I can clean it while on the bench.

Not looking forward cleaning all these rocker arms.....
100% guaranteed to use extra assembly paste and I hate that smell....
If it gets on my finger, it will smell for a week and one time, I accidentaly
touched my hair while I had the paste still on the glove and I couldn't
sleep for days because of the smell.
At the end, I had my hair cut in order to get rid of the smell.
It's very expensive paste as well.....

Someone really struggled to deal with the rear TB cover.
So many scratch markings.......
Also, it’s the old spec so I may just replace it with the latest design.

Again, the valve covers were covered in so much blowby.
The rear bank was worse than the front side that is not normal so
another doubt on the PCV valve.
