In the process of clearance adjustment.

24 adjustments were checked twice for the clearance and the torque.
Then, all of them were checked one more time as a
standard procedure for me.

Done.

VTEC spool valve service.
Another famous place for the oil seepage.

This engine is equipped with the later smaller spec solenoid so
P08 series gaskets were used.

Important to replace all bolts as well.

The oil press sender unit with new O-ring.

This is the one that will show the oil pressure on your dash gauge.
As some of you know, if you cut open it, you will be amazed
how simple this sensor is and thus,
the absolute figure has low accuracy and the reading on the
gauge is just a reference.

Spool valve installed at both banks and the
oil press sender unit also back in place.

I can’t work on the engine any further without the new parts
from Japan so will work on the chassis side such as A/C CCU,
Bose AMP, fuel filter, coolant hoses, etc.

The parts are somewhere in UK waiting for the custom clearance so
should be with me this week.... I hope.....
