For the installation of the BC coilover kit,
had to remove the rubber seal under the bonnet.
As expected, the clips were all dead.
Replaced all of them.

Due to the body kit design and the UV ray,
the neck of the radiator changed its colour.
As it looked like the original radiator from the factory,
considering the age and to be on the safe side,
I recommend replacing it with the Koyo all aluminium one
in the future.

One of the source of the noise from the centre forward section of
the cabin.
Quite popular issue of sudden crack immerging at the daylight sensor
at the defrost panel.

It will cause annoying squeaking noise depending on the temperature
as well as the presence of the direct sunlight.

In order to replace this, it’s a dashboard off job and since this NSX also
has A/C gas leakage from the evaporator, it would make sense to
sort these out at the same time since replacing the evaporator also
requires the dashboard to come out.

The A/C gas level was really low with lots and lots of bubbles seen
at the check window of the receiver.

It still has the R12 system so at the time of evaporator and defrost panel
services, you may want to consider converting it to the R134a spec.

The owner experienced cracking noise from the cabin speaker
possibly from the passenger side door or footwell section while
driving in that recent heatwave warning climate.

Tested the system using the radio, AUX input using the mobile phone and
the iPod mode for more than 5Hrs but none of them made any noises.

Probably I need to test it under really hot summer condition......

Nothing new here.
Quick engine oil and filter service.
Drained the old oil from the sump plug as well as from the top
to remove as much old oil as possible.
No strange smell or colour observed although ultimately,
you need to burn the used oil and check the spectrum for
the detailed analysis.

The air cleaner element.
As recommended last year, I’ll replace it this time as
it is getting hard to see through the light.

This NSX is AT model so after going through all gears and
immediately after stopping the engine,
checked the ATF level.
Still close to the max level but at the first ‘xx’ marking on
the gauge so no need to worry.

Colour was still clear red so the clutch discs seemed to be still fine.
No slip observed during the test driving session but I tend to lift the
TH pedal to encourage the AT to shift to the next gear so
may not conclusive.

The battery was kept on the battery conditioner for
the duration of the service so it’s in very healthy status.

Just need to finish the Health Check, carry out the compression check and
flush the ABS.

Nearly there.
