    Started to overhaul the drive shaft.

    Cleaned the joint housing to this level for inspection.

    The roller, tripod/spider, housing, shaft are specially heat treated
    and hardened several times so you must place each parts in their
    original direction/position on reassembly.

  2. NSX Concept model

    In January, I received an email from Honda regarding the display of NSX Concept model at the Headquarters showroom in Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan on the first weekend of February.

  3. Oil Pan 04

    As some of the parts arrived today,
    decided to finish off the Eng/Transmission mount area
    ahead of the drive shaft overhaul.



    Heat shield for front header installed with new bolts.
    Although it’s been treated, it will corrode again within a short period.

    Drained the MTF. As always, any trans fluid smells bad.....





    Finally, the MTF strainer cover came off.
    It was heavily corroded and didn’t want to come off.

  5. Eng Fire Up

    After spending some time on how to fire up the engine under current condition,
    re-connected the O2 sensor and started the preparation for the fire up.




    While trying to re-install the battery, found lots of packing foam under it.
