Looks like someone already re-tightened the bolt and nut deforming this flanged section.
The damage is already done so I may or may not be able to stop the oil seepage even with the new gasket unless the oil pan is replaced.
Please never touch the oil pan bolt/nut afterwards and personally, never torque it to the workshop manual spec of 14Nm.
It will squash the rubber gasket too far and if you keep tightening, 100% guaranteed to deform the flange section of the oil pan and never be able to stop the oil seepage.
Cleaned as much as possible in a hope to stop the oil dripping onto the mating surface during the installation.
You can see the difference in how the oil pan flanged section was pressed against the block/oil pump housing/L side cover.
Some of the markings are too deep meaning that the oil pan was deformed in the past.
Interesting that there was very little trace of liquid gasket at the seam of oil pump and L side cover.
Looks like someone removed the oil pan in the past……
Cleaned to this level and as far as I can tell, removed the sticky oil debris sandwiched behind the metal rail gasket.
