TB installed and tensioned to the spec.

Just check, check, check and check the timing at crank and each cam gears.

I know from the facts that there are many NSX engines in the world
running with the wrong cam timing due to the cam teeth off by one or even more.

So much better when you have new bolt at the TB tension adjuster.

Didn’t want to be interrupted while doing the 4Hr valve clearance adjustment so
decided to stop here and just admired how clean the engine is.
Before and after.

More to follow later.

When you apply the liquid gasket, is it applied to #1 and #4 only, or to all of the cam holders?

    Hi, nikey22.

There is no need (or should I say no point) in applying liquid gasket at #2 & 3 holders because there is no escape route for the engine oil to seep outside of the engine at these two holders.
Any oil managed to get underneath of #2 & 3 holders will end up inside the engine any way.

If you study the design and layout between the three parts (cam holder, cyl head, valve cover gasket), it is very easy to understand why you MUST apply the liquid gasket at #1 and 4 cam holders.

Otherwise, 100% guaranteed to see the oil seepage.

The valve cover gasket sits on top of the half moon arch of #1 & 4 cam holders.
These two cam holders sit on top of the brown cam seal (for #1) and the black cam disc (for #4).
At the same time, both cam holders sit on top of the outer edge of cyl head.

While the eng oil is blocked by the brown cam seal, black cam disc and the valve cover gasket, there is small metal to metal contact area just outside of the cam seal and disc where the three parts (cam holder, cam seal/disc, cyl head) meet together.

Because it’s metal to metal contact, even it is super thin clearance, there is nothing to stop the eng oil from seeping through there and reaching outside of the engine.

Hence, you must fill the clearance with the liquid gasket.

It would be much easier if I explain the above in front of the engine with the cam holders removed or find several photos showing where the oil can seep out.

The diagram inside the workshop manual showing where to apply the liquid gasket is somewhat not clear enough and I don't apply it on the cam holder side because of that.
Instead, I apply it on the cyl head side and also on top of the black cam disc.
