    New pulley installed and torqued to the spec.


    My Digital torque wrench that failed the other day was replaced with a completely new one and used it for tightening the pulley bolt to the spec.


    Thanks for the life time warranty and quick customer support from the manufacture and the tool shop that I always use.


    Tensioned the ACG and A/C belts and torqued all the bolts/nuts to the ...

  2. Never-Ending Dreams…

    Received email from Honda Japan that they are launching new parts for our NSX. Suspension, rear wing, brake pads, etc....


    These were preliminary introduced to the owners at the last year’s 20th NSX fiesta at Suzuka and now the official announcement was made.

    It states that most of them are for JDM spec only and available from the end of May.

    The owner cleaned the MTF strainer recently.

    Whenever I drain the MTF, I always check the state of the strainer to understand the condition of the transmission.


    The big particles will be trapped by the magnet plate at the bottom of the trans case but the metal powder and small particles are held inside this strainer before going through the oil pump.

    The outboard joint was slashing the grease everywhere over the years and it managed to create wall of grease in many areas….



    I think I’ll be spending extra hours cleaning them…

    Some of the readers here may have experienced the same thing…


    For some reason, once I started working on a specific part on one NSX, then the trend seems to follow for the following cars waiting to be serviced.


    For a while, I was overhauling lots of brake callipers on many NSX for a few months.


    Then, the trend changed to the timing belt service and now back to the drive shaft.
