    Recently, I started servicing the two A/C CCU board in parallel.



    One owner sent the board through the post and the other owner hand carried it to my place together with 3 x Bose AMP and OEM Alpine Head Unit.

    Although the owner was not feeling any issues on his A/C system,
    he decided to carry out the preventative measures on the CCU.
    Very good decision by acting now instead of waiting for something to fail
    as it will save the time and cost for the owner.

    The CCU board is already on its way to the owner and will be delivered
    by 1pm today so doing another catch up updating the blog.......

    As I’m behind the schedule for the Eng Refresh, decided to work over the
    weekend to finish the service on this board as much as possible.

    In the past, I repaired the CCU board that required 25 extra services but
    almost all of the damages were caused by someone without proper
    soldering or electronics training so I don’t refer it as natural failure.

    Lots and lots of cleaning carried out.

    DM11 and C25 were removed for inspection.
    Fortunately, they were still fine.




    DM11 checked, cleaned and back in place.
