Might still be a good car. Just sayin.

hi folks

Not sure if any of you are interested, but I had the my 94 NSX (JDM) dyno tested (rolling road) yesterday and below are the results obtained from the test. The dyno system is DASTEK and is 2wd and 4wd capable.

NB. the car has no modifications to the engine or induction HOWEVER has an exhaust replacement using Dali's Rice back box system (bought of Mark on here). No headers or cat mods have been carried out. Engine has been fully serviced by Sudesh during his refresh programme.

288 bhp maximum power (Engine)

245 bhp maximum power (Wheels)

212 lbs of Torque at peak power

I had AFR results etc too, and all were in very safe parameters and the controller said the engine was running very well in all areas no lean or rich readings. Not bad for a 16yr old motor I guess ...

One thing of note is that the power curve on the NSX is very linear; the operator had never tested an NSX before he asked me if the VTEC was working! :) He was amazed as he is used to seeing other Honda's modified etc that has a spike when VTEC occurs.

What do you guys think of the results i.e. Good, bad, indifferent, etc?

Not sure how many of you have ever dyno'ed your car but how does this car compare to other pretty much standard cars?

since I've been posting on NSXCB there's always been this strong Senna/NSX connection. It's taken for granted by anyone who's heard of the NSX that Ayrton Senna had a significant hand in the cars development.
So, is this true? How much actual input did he actually have? Is there proper documented evidence to back it up or is it an urban myth and did he just do a few test laps round a circuit for the press launch?

Cheers,

Got up this morning to find my brake lamp warning light on. To save me waiting til i get home and having a look in the manunal does anyone know brake light i need for a 1997 UK Model.

I'm also assuming it quite an easy change by the looks of it, unlike my last car where you had to remove half the boot.

Cheers

This is the glovebox wallet for my 1994 UK supplied NSX, chassis no. 955. Included is a UK market Owner's Handbook, which runs to 227 pages, inside front cover vehicle details page has never been filled in. There is also a fully stamped service history, all Honda stamps up to 108,000 miles. This has the vehicle details inside the front cover. There is also a Honda Euro Service handbook. This is what remains of my NSX, the keys I am keeping as a souvenir.
I also have for sale a NSX Type R sales brochure in Japanese, which I think is the only language that it was ever published in, not mint but undamaged, and likewise a 2005 model UK sales brochure with slipcase. Also not mint but undamaged
I don't know what these items are worth, so make me an offer that I can't refuse. I should think that the UK Owners handbook is pretty scarce as I think only 18 were sold here that year.
