    Default Clear side repeaters

Do newer NSX models have clear side repeaters? As mine is a '92 it has orange ones, and that's a bit of a pet hate of mine, as the car is silver I think it would look nicer with clear ones (like I fitted to my BM).
If so are they available or will I have to go down the 'universal' route.?

Mutley, surprised nobody else has answered this. The side repeaters are identical to the S2000's, can't remember which year the S2000 had clear ones but just get them from your local Honda dealer, I think the pair was about £20 with amber bulbs.

Didn't see the original post myself :?: as above, I think the S2000 ones will fit, will check if you want.

Think the change happened in 2002 on the S2000.

But fit Philips silver vision bulbs instead of the Honda jobbies, nothing worse than putting clear lenses on and having an Orange bulb.

Of course with an Orange car I will stick with Orange repeaters.

Thanks guys, great help, it has been that long I forgot about this post.

I know what you mean about the bulbs, I use the silver ones on my BM.

    Thanks again

The S2000 clear lenses are not exactly the same as the amber NSX lenses but they do fit.

Thats' fine, I'm not to worried about them looking the same, it's just with my car being silver, the orange repeaters stand out and look dated, especially with the front lenses being clear.

I think the clear against the silver will look a lot better, and a bit "newer".

Externally they do look exactly the same except they're clear. It's the bit that goes inside the wing and the bulb holder that's slightly different.

    Hi Mutley,

I must admit that I never saw you original post otherwise I would have responded much sooner!

I now have clear side repeaters (with silvertec bulbs) in my product line and these are currently in stock. £28 delivered (including the bulbs and fitting instructions).

If you haven't already got these sorted give me a call and I'll send a pair out asap.

    Regards,

    Dan

    Mutley,

Here are the correct Honda part numbers for the clear side repeaters:

    H33801S2AJ02 - Lamp Unit - £8.88.
    H33851S2AJ02 - Lamp Unit - £8.88.
    H33301S5HT01 - Bulb (orange) - £1.10 ea.

Total: £22.81 inc vat and bulbs.

    NSXGB,

These are the S2 part numbers? Whats involved with changing them over? Is it an inner arch trim removal to obtain access?

    Mutley,

My S2k was an 04 in Moonrock with the factory clear lens and certainly better than the amber lens (unless your car is Orange  )

    regards
