I really cannot see the point of going to 255 with the little 16" cotton reels at the front.
It's really difficult to get breakaway with the impressive Advans in the dry and it's nicely (perfectly) balanced in the wet.
I'd rather widen the rim for better sidewall rigidity than widen the tyre, which tends to result in a soggier feel.
I think that's one reason I prefer the feel of the cotton reels to the facelift.
For reference, the S-02s on the S2000 were so allergic to being cold & wet, the Advans seem familiar to me!
