To save me driving round the two service areas looking for some old honda's, can I assume we are meeting on the Northbound side of the services ? (According to the website for the services, there are services on both sides).

    Hi Rod

That's right there are services on both sides and you can get to both sides no matter what direction you approach (North / South on M1 or East / West on A43).

As you have picked the Northbound side then that's where we will meet. 3:30pm this Friday!

If we really twist MUGEN's arm they give us a sneak preview of something they are working on

Big thankyou to Paul for organising a great day. Good to see some old and new faces, see you at Japfest.
Sorry we couldn't make it for the twenty questions, it sounded fun, but somebody had to make the first move for bed.

All the best Ian and Sharon

Ian & Sharon, no thank you for coming and of course evrey one else who made it. I hope you all had a good time and all got home safely.

I would like to say thankyou to the Roadehouse hotel for looking after us, this is a small hotel which I would recommend to any body and 2 of us tried to book for the Silverstone classic weekend, but they are already full

A very big thank you to all at MUGEN for having us and a special thanks to Colin who showed us around and answered all our questions and Gareth who came from Honda head office to also answer questions about Honda's future plans.

If you can let me know if you had a good time then maybe we could make this an annual event?

    Regards

    Paul

    Firstly, thx for organising.
Second, Mugen were very welcoming. Good of Gareth (Honda) to turn up and give an insight into the future.
Motor racing isn't much of my thing but it's good to see that Honda make engines that can be used in extreme environments (like my wife driving to the supermarket !)
Although I suspect armoured body work would be more appropriate for those locations where people can't get out of their cars without bashing the car next to them.
Perhpas a special addition CR-Z could be made called "supermarket ready" !
    Regards to all,
    Rod

Making this an annual event would be an excellent idea, We both enjoyed the visit and meal, with interesting and entertaining company, looking forward to next time.

Shame about the hotel being fully booked for SC, I guess it would be a good idea to try to get somewhere else booked real soon, did Paul mention a Hilton?

    Regards Martyn

Thanks for your kind offer but i think it's best if we don't invade your personal space too much, thanks again, see you there.
