Tried most of last night and thought, lets be patient & wait until tomorrow, then tried after mid night or this morning, but still no joy!

Yes the server had been shutdown. Apparantly we have been taking part in some DDOS attacks against something or other. The server had been hacked and it was running scripts it should not have.
The people that run the cloud emailed me they shut the server down, but as this server also hosts my personal email, I didn't get anything.
It's only when I tried to get to my email, I could see the server was down.
It's been cleaned now, but I will probably have to do some more work to make it more secure. I don't really have the time for this, so I am a bit p****d off about it.
