Thread: Surrey Rolling Road evening - Thur 11th Nov

    Hi Noel,

    OK - hows this for a stake in the ground ... I can definitely make it ... working at home that day so making it there for 6.15 not a problem ... but am now concerned as I'm 8th on the list ... and there's only room for 5-6 cars ... is just going to be first come first served?

    Would be useful if others who responded before me as 'possibles' could make there intentions known ...

    Cheers

    Yep.

    I know I'm not attending, but the straightforward answer is:-

    a) all of the current attendees say if they're definite or possible;
    b) everyone exchanges with one central co-ordinator their mobile # and agrees to contact him if their status changes - co-ordinator can then contact #s 7 and 8 on the list as appropriate so no-one wastes time and Charlie still has a full house.

    Blue '08 FD2 CTR - big, ITR-sized shoes to fill...
    Yellow '96 NSX 3.0 - oh was it worth the wait!
    Black '99 ITR - well, I had to have another one, the first was so much fun. Miss this one even more than #1...
    Blue '03 S2000 - SOLD, flawed but fun
    Blue '04 Focus TDCi Sport - SOLD, very good fun for a diesel!
    Black '00 ITR - SOLD, still missed
    Red '98 Civic VTi - SOLD, probably still bombproof

    Looks like I won't be able to make it so count me out for the dyno runs/pulls.

    So we are now down to 7, and I'm happy not to run if we are overallocated, so everyone should be OK. What we could do is stagger our arrival times, so that people aren't waiting for too long. So, first attempt, who wants what slot (very rough times)

    I've currently got CEL with a blown O2 sensor, so I don't know what effect that will have - engine running a bit rich?
