Not very exciting, but it saves me writing a lengthy post. All manufacturuers are having EGR/inlet issues. I get around 3/4 calls a day from the general public regarding running problems, ECL's, poor economy and, pinking etc and most of its down to EGR and direct injection.

    Cheers,

    James.

My employers brought a fleet of 6 Mercedez vito vans in November 08.
All are now between 50k and 65k miles. All have had the EGR valve replaced, 4 of them twice and one has just had its third!

But I still reckon the R8/S4 put out claimed power when in good nick. I will take our 20k 330i on the dyno to see how it is faring at some point.

Thats interesting on the Supra vs NSX! I have owned 3 TT Supras and always wondered if they were quicker, I actually though they would have been given the BHP figures but obviously the power to weight ratio is one of the factors for the NSX. I actually have a 2001 Facelift VVTi Tiptronic Supara Just arrived Today from Japan, One of the very last cars.

    Heres a few pics:

Nice car, but the wood dash kills the interior. I had an old supra ( last of the pop up ones) 3.0L turbro. I really liked that interior.
