Have been looking to buy an NSX for about six months - have viewed a few private sales and missed out on a couple by not being quick enough.

So am now getting impatient to make that purchase and wondered whether members had any recommendations on the current crop on PH and autotrader or alternatively knew of any that might be coming up for sale.

I'm looking to spend 20-25k, have no firm view on manual/auto or targa/coupe - what is paramount to me is condition and originality.

Would welcome any advice, Paul

You should have bought the one I sold for £20,500 as it was original and mint condition having had around £6K spent on her keeing her mint. You have to be prepared to travel the UK for one and keep checking each day. Best of luck with your search but patience is a virtue and it will happen.

Well that would have surely ruled your car out then, even mine to a degree even though mine only had a rear wing replaced I still wouldn't and didn't describe it as original.

I have also been looking at the auction websites and see N16 NSX is coming up for auction. A quick google search shows that this car went to auction only a few months ago but it's not clear whether it sold or not.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this car?

From the VIN number it's a Japanese Import, if it's a manual (not looked into it) then the guide price could lead to a bargain for someone depending on condition, mileage etc of course.

Dunno about the car but looking at the pics it's an import. You can tell by the lack of number plate holder and no washer jets for the headlights, also: Date of First Registration: 26/10/2004.

Might be slightly older than 1996 too.

Vin number would put it as a 1990/1
