I take mine to Honda as I have a Honda warranty, but if mine was 10 or more years old I would either take it to a specialist, or (Kaz/Sudesh) if they didn't mind.

As said, it depends not just on your NSX but also the work required. Regular servicing for me is with Nortons as they have almost the complete history for my NSX.

Other jobs I will/do use specialists such as Kaz, Plans.

As an example I needed to get my a/c serviced. Honda quoted my £368 for parts plus £150 to recharge the system. Kaz very kindly purchased the parts from Japan at significantly less than HUK and my local friendly A/C specialists installed the parts, pressure tested the system, checked for leaks after recharging/oiling. His price was £45.00! So the end result for me was a saving of around £350 and the same result.

    regards, Paul

For all things mechanical I do it myself, but anything electrical, then it's over to Kaz.

In the NW you have 2Mills near Chester and they are an authorised NSX dealer, but heard mix stories about them. They will have a NSX tech there. I use Arnold Clarke Honda near Old Trafford for servicing, who used to be Rylands in Mancr City centre and they use to sell NSX. They seem ok and I know a couple/few NSX owners use them. Anything technical in the future, may travel the long distance to Kaz as hes honest, knows everything NSX and is well respected here.

Up in Scotland i think the Honda dealers are quite reasonable tbh so i use them for all the work on the NSX, its not been much more to service than some of my previous cars of other Marques so i find it quite acceptable.

Also Honda were quite happy to use my oem service parts for my belt and waterpump service last year that i bought from America at a huge discount from buying from Honda UK. I just paid them the labour which was very reasonable.

Where do the other Scottish members take their cars up here?
