I have setup a home cinema room in my old office that was once a small barn (very small only 10 by18 inside space). All the toys (DVD 200 disc autoloader, PC, XBOX and PS2) hooked up and the room is blackout with 7.1 sound for the full impact.

Still cannot break the 8:40 time, I am using the HONDA NSX standard 3.0 with manual box the same car I have and not bouncing off the walls or over the grass.

After about 40 laps I think I have the hang of the front and end of the circuit, but the middle downhill section is still giving me problems.

Looking forward to April and a top gear moment of cruising through Europe in a sports car for fun.

passengerage is always available Simon

2006 prices have just been announced so I have updated the 1st post accordingly.

Accommodation - there are a number of places nearby to stay, but the S2ki crew and I will be staying at the Berghotel Hohe-Acht.

it's basic but cheap if you can deal with being looked after by Thomas - the gayest German waiter you'll ever meet.

then you won't have anything to worry about.
The ONLY danger there is that you over cook it around one of the blind curves. THAT'S were the self discipline comes in and the only point that worries me about myself.
As for the traffic, no problem, everybody is very respectful and gets out of the way.

Darren is right, your worries are a non-issue. Come this year Kevin, it's great to see all the other cars there, the atmosphere is nice.

    Kevin, read the below.

My wife did a few laps at the Nurburgring with my NSX. her only compliant was that there was no resturant to stop at during the laps (there is actaully, but i didn't say anything...)

so come on Kev, you are officially counted as "in" this time.

    For the list:
    Sign me up. Anyday.
But I won’t be coming over with you because, well, how can I put this…I only live 1 hour away from the Ring! Yeah! Just had to rub it in! HaHa.

    Ok, childish moment finished.

Not entirely true, as one of the times we all set out for a lap I was a couple of cars behind you. I was determined to show you how to drive and was willing to do dangerous things to achieve this.

You friggin disappeared into the distance…and were gone within 2 corners…
