Many rumours going around, the last I heard was it was a courtesy car as his was in the garage.

All of the airbags worked then...

If your fear of staying alive, outweighs the thrill of making the corner, brake.

Apparently the RS4 was a courtesy car from his insurance company. The driver allready owned a RS4 that he had previously bumped, therefore he got a like for like as a courtesy car.
Unfortunately he took it on the track day, had the mishap but decided to tell his insurance that he had a crash in the courtesy car in luton on the 14th, and not the 11th of the track day at castle combe.

Problem is the car had a Tracker fitted...........

I hope he has to shell out the full amount for it.Audi didn't just drop him into a 1.6 A3 and say "there you go", they gave him a 50K+ courtesy car and thats how he thanks them.People like that make me sick. They have zero appreciation and respect for other peoples property.

    Rant over

Fair play. You only live once so bollx to it and get it on track..he will look back and laugh about it.

As for ' how he thanks them' ? The insurance industry rapes us every year and names its own price.. the b4stards SHOULD be giving us courtesy cars like this they make a fortune.

Being a fan of Honda engines, I later went to Honda's Tochigi Research Center on two occasions and requested that they consider building for the McLaren F1 a 4.5 liter V10 or V12. I asked, I tried to persuade them, but in the end could not convince them to do it, and the McLaren F1 ended up equipped with a BMW engine.

I'm tempted to agree with you Dan - you only live once! I have to say if this was a courtesy car I wouldn't fancy handing the keys back though .

Insurance is a mega rip off - but business rates make them look value for money!!
