Thread: Toying with the idea.

    Default Toying with the idea.

    Hi,
I'm toying with the idea of an NSX and figured this was the forum to join to have a mooch about.
I've just hit 39 and promised myself something special by the time I was 40. That has come pretty quickly
I have a pretty extensive history of Honda ownership ranging from CRXs, DC2s, ATRs amongst others.

    Current fleet consists of -
DC2 track car - still under construction but almost finished.
EK9 - really my missus car but I pinch it regulalry
ATR - sold last week to make way for something new
Mk2 Civic 1.3 Auto - 27 yr old banger bought for £400 for the daily hack.

The old civic is everything I need to get back and fore to work, and has helped me convince the missus that the time is now to buy a nice weekend toy.

I'm looking for an early well kept manual car and have a budget of about £18K (a wee bit more for the right car....maybe)
Hopefully I can find something decent for that kind of money.
    That's my story.
If anyone knows of anything coming up that might fit the bill, a heads up would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Nez

Being a fan of Honda engines, I later went to Honda's Tochigi Research Center on two occasions and requested that they consider building for the McLaren F1 a 4.5 liter V10 or V12. I asked, I tried to persuade them, but in the end could not convince them to do it, and the McLaren F1 ended up equipped with a BMW engine.

This one of ay interest ....

Pretty solid history with some recent major work to put it back on its toes. I saw this last year and it looked pretty clean too.

Alternatively there is the Charlotte Green on Autotrader that looks interesting. I saw it breifly at Chiswick and was very clean.

Good luck and hope this helps
