    Nice and smooth Mr Cooke.

Was that on the R888's? How were they in the cold and wet?

    Horn push looks nice

Yes it was on R888s. Looks smooth as its not too quick! Only did 120 in the wet, so took it slightly slower than the dry. The tyres were OK, apart from standing water when it took on a mind of its own. Kept it in a straight line, just. Braking also gets a little nervous too.

    Quite good fun in all.

Was it me or was it my co-driver?!

Crap rear tyres and rain and poor car/throttle control made the drive very interesting.

I wasn't the one with the most impressive spin though although it was the MR2.!!

The car was covered in enough mud/turf to cover half a football pitch.

Nice and smooth Kevin, circuit knowledge clearly helping in the conditions that seemed to have all the Lotus boys braking very early IMO.

Oh yes, the Red MR2 ... it has to be SS. Clearly has the same delicate control of the throttle as he does hand tools

    Hey BB

Sounds like you were giving Mutley a passenger ride when you passed SS spinning on the chicane? Or could that be your chesty cough?
I always wondered how comes you wear an overside black tea caddy on your head. Now those blasted pieces are coming together. I hate pigeons too you know

Yeah I was a bit wheezy that day. I had bit more of a 'wheezy fit' when an Exige that I just passed insisted on trying to keep up. He did for most of a lap, then seemed to leave the tarmac. I don't think those little cars like the wet too much. They seemed pretty unstable.

The MR2 of SS was a handful. I had a go in it as well. I managed to keep it on the black stuff, but for a learning tool it's great. Don't change a thing on it!

SS, what were the crap tyres you spun on? Will you change them, if so what would you change to? Kevin says don't change a thing so it must have been fun! Well its all track knowledge at the end of the day!
