    Default NSX at 180

Nice drive in the country, 2 people in the car, luggage in the boot and 180 mph on the clock,

Totally legal, video taken on an unrestricted bit of Autobahn between Karlsruhre and frankfurt

Amber light coming on is the TCS fail which sometimes comes on during a fast run, best to ease off a bit!

    As Amo would say enjoy!

    OK lol!

Just a 2mph difference at 178 on GPS, had it at 181 on GPS (183 clock) but the video was showing the road.

Still a way to beat my previous best from the old photo but it was only a 2 lane section and didnt want to go too fast!!

nice vid mate thanks for sharing.

My GPS shows about 5% out most of the way up, but at high speeds you're not really wanting to do a speedo vs GPS comparison!

I'm surprised you got her all the way up there Leigh... what with the NSX heavily weighed down AND a passenger

Didnt get there as quick as normal and the luggage wasnt that heavy but shows theres still more to come.

My fastest run before was 187 on clock (185 gps) but that was just me on board and without luggage & spare wheel. Since then have changed out the exhaust and air box so would expect it to better that but havent had the conditions so far. Weather over here not too great and when it is Sunny too many people on the road.

Maybe 3.0s are better for top end, not sure what the 186 vids were based on. I had a quick go but didn't seem to be moving up very fast past 165 (up a hill with 3 elephants in the car) so had to back off.

I would have thought that me + the elephants would be comparable to just you doing your run.. I'll have to bring the ellies to the autobahn with me for a true test!

yep does take a little bit of time to go from 170 to 180, and i think even with all the mods it wont go much faster than the 187 before due to gearing / aerodynamics etc. The mods just help it get there quicker.

And as for carrying elephants i've told you not to give Matt a lift!

    Is that a Navman N60i??

Also, can you take it again as I couldn't see the numbers as the camera was shaking too much??

Is it true that the bigger airscoop also scoop up rain as well and therefore not wise to drive in the rain??

    Good vid.
