On this basis, could it have been Monza Red ... depending on weather conditions this can look anything from dull through to an amazing pearl red ... would be my guess ....

Well done detective ... now can you establish if this was the car that the chap from Chiswick bought to Japfest around 2010? I’m guessing it is likely given its location now and that I’m not aware of another one

All I can add is the driver had grey hair and a beard and was being driven sedately along the A12. About 6 years ago I recall someone telling me they had seen the same car around Colchester. So it's been in the area for a while.

I had a very interesting spot this morning at about 11am just after junction 11 anti clockwise on the hard shoulder of the M25

Inside a Mansfield vehicle delivery/transportation lorry was a silver NC1

The truck had lost one its rear wheels due to wheel nuts not being torqued up correctly and they were waiting for a heavy commercial tow truck to take them away due to damaged wheel studs.

As for the NSX, well it was going in for a fuel line recall, at least that's what I was told by the transportation guys.

I suppose the recall must make the car too dangerous to drive although I haven't heard of this on any NSX news channels.

It was probably being taken from a local dealer to one of the main London dealers to have the recall work done - I remember reading that vehicle collection was offered to original owners in the UK.
