I guess there’s a few elements in play; how much the customer needs/wants back, the upward NSX trend and the rarity value of non red/black cars. The yellow car is interesting. Obviously non original. It has 02 wheels etc. I don’t usually love them on pop-ups but I think the owner got it right with the colour. Ans the ride height is good.
Each car has a market. The yellow car is completely revertible if necessary (at a cost) but do purists/investors buy modded cars? Not sure. I guess some do. I would. A good car’s a good car.

Key message from James is when you are talking the money some NSX make (or are advertised for) today, it needs to be a good car, with good history in the first place, and if modded sensibly then why not, especially if the OEM parts come with the sale …

Out of the two torque cars. Not physically seen either. But on paper I’d have taken the red one. A third of the mileage for less money. The yellow car however does look stunning and I’m sure it will sell.

It was also interesting watching the Collecting car auction of the low mileage 92 car which sold for £76K + tax on the same platform in 2021. It made a lot more this time!
Again, personally I’d have been a little worried about the vin plate and lack of history, but perhaps a bit of research could sort this. I see there is a company that can do a really comprehensive search on JDM history now.
