Thread: I found a Mugen chip - what to do with it?

Default I found a Mugen chip - what to do with it?

I just found a little Mugen chip - says "C30A race" on the sticker. I have no idea when or where I picked it up, and as I'm generally dubious about the likely success of 'chipping' the ECU of a car like the NSX, I'm not sure why I got it. Perhaps it come in with a bunch of other stuff.

Anyway, does anyone here know about them? I found a thread/article on Prime discussing a Dali chip, but a skim read didn't seem to show a significant benefit of that one.

    Thoughts?

(I'll take post a photo tomorrow.)

Yes indeed a very interesting find, not sure if Kaz can shine any light on whether or not MUGEN ever did a chip for the C30 enginge.

Dr Mickey might also know if this is real or not.

2016 NC1 NSX, Casino White Pearl with red semi-aniline leather and alcantara.

Now on its way to Clive who has promised to post back here with whatever he finds out.

I've said that when the chip tells his car to rev to 10,000rpm, it's not my fault!

Unfortunately, Kaz says (on FB) that he can't say anything about due to IP reasons.
